Surrey Youth Ballet

SYB embarked upon it's first Associate program last year, which was a huge success. The Associates is open to all dancers between the ages of 8 and 15.

The Associates consists of a monthly ballet class and then a second class in a different genre.

Auditions take place every December and classes take place once a month on a Sunday for 10 months of the year.

Class sizes are small and focus on technique as well as providing dancers with additional experience to supplement the classes they attend with their own dance schools.

The associate audition consists of a ballet class. We try to make this a relaxed and fun environment and encouragement is given to the dancers throughout. Results are not given on the day and will be posted or emailed out within a week of the audition.

We do offer some places to reserves and will inform them if a space becomes available. We ask the dancers to arrive to auditions with hair tidy and wear appropriate ballet class attire. SYB accepts 9-10 dancers into each of the classes.
